I felt every bit of this. The last two weeks I've gotten so many compliments about my hair and for the first time I was actually loving it and like 5 guys (not the burger lol) approached me. Yesterday I got a retwist and NO I do not like it. I have very fine hair and now it looks really thin, I want the volume and the lady who does it twists the roots thin as a needle and charges $135! I was under the impression that you HAVE to get it retwisted every 4-6 weeks. The reason I got locs is for volume and less maintenance so twists defeats the whole purpose. So I'm done, from here on out I will be free forming 🙂

Lol, i used to do what's called a "light retwist", to avoid that scalpy, twisted neat look. Now i just wash and separate. I don't like the scalpy look at all. I love your locs, btw. ❤
